With over two decades of experience in the maritime industry, Niels brings deep expertise and dedication to his role. Before transitioning to claims management, he spent 10 years working at sea, starting as a deck cadet on the training ship Danmark and rising to the rank of Master Mariner.

Niels holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen, and is a certified Average Adjuster, having studied Maritime Law, Insurance Law, and adjusting practice. He further specialized in Marine Insurance, Maritime Law, and Petroleum Law at the University of Oslo.

He is also a certified Mediator, focusing on Alternative Dispute Resolution through Mediatoradvokater.
